MBZUAI has opened its undergraduate application cycle for autumn 2027. Early Action closes on 1 November 2026 at 5 PM Gulf Standard Time; Regular Decision closes on 1 February 2027 at 5 PM GST.
Who can apply?
The published academic threshold is normally 90% overall or equivalent in a recognised high-school qualification. Applicants must meet mathematics and English requirements and the screening/interview process. Prior programming experience is not mandatory.
Funding and benefits
Merit- and need-based scholarships may cover up to 100% of tuition and cost of attendance. “Up to” does not mean every admitted applicant receives full funding. Read the catalogue and individual award terms.
How to apply and important dates
Use the official undergraduate application. Submit the required records, complete the screening process and check any applicable application fee or waiver conditions.
Documents and preparation
Prepare school transcripts, graduation or interim results, a personal statement, CV and accepted English evidence. Recommendations and a technical portfolio are recommended rather than mandatory.
Before you submit
Make a personal checklist from the official instructions. Check that your name matches your identity documents, that uploaded files are readable and that your referees have enough time. Save a copy of your submission and its confirmation. If the provider changes its announcement, follow its current instructions rather than an older listing.
Frequently asked question
Can a student with previous university study transfer credits?
The current page says applicants can apply but must begin the full programme from the first year.
Official source and verification
Source checked on 25 October 2026: official provider announcement and application guidance. Funding, eligibility and schedules can change. Find Global Scholarships is an independent information publisher; applications are handled by the provider.
