The University of Twente Scholarship application window runs from 15 October 2026 to 1 April 2027 for qualifying September-2027 MSc programmes. The published closing time is 16:00 CET.
Who can apply?
The scholarship is for outstanding non-EU/EEA applicants with provisional admission and a student number. Dutch/current UT students, ITC master’s applicants and pre-master’s routes are excluded. Check the complete nationality, fee-status and English requirements.
Funding and benefits
Awards range from €3,000 to €22,000 for one year. This is not a full scholarship. A second-year award may be available if the required academic progress is met.
How to apply and important dates
Apply for an eligible master’s programme first. After receiving admission and a student number, complete the separate UTS application through the university’s scholarship page. Allow time for the admission decision.
Documents and preparation
Use the admission record, student number and scholarship motivation. Compare your total tuition and living costs against the offered contribution before committing.
Before you submit
Make a personal checklist from the official instructions. Check that your name matches your identity documents, that uploaded files are readable and that your referees have enough time. Save a copy of your submission and its confirmation. If the provider changes its announcement, follow its current instructions rather than an older listing.
Frequently asked question
Will UT pay all my fees separately?
No. The university describes the award as a contribution to study costs and says costs are not paid on the student’s behalf.
