KAUST’s Fall-2027 round is open to MS, MS/PhD and PhD applicants. Its current timeline lists 3 January 2027 as the Round-2 application deadline and 29 August 2027 as the semester start.
Who can apply?
Applicants must meet the academic and English requirements of the intended graduate programme. Select a programme that matches your prior preparation and research interests.
Funding and benefits
KAUST states that admitted students receive the KAUST Fellowship for the duration of their graduate studies. Read the current fellowship terms and offer letter for the precise tuition, stipend, accommodation and other entitlements.
How to apply and important dates
Use the official KAUST admission application. Submit the complete file by the round deadline and respond to any interview requests. Spring-2027 admission was PhD-only with an earlier September deadline; do not confuse it with this Fall round.
Documents and preparation
Prepare academic transcripts, degree evidence, CV, statement of purpose, referee information and applicable English results according to the admissions checklist.
Before you submit
Make a personal checklist from the official instructions. Check that your name matches your identity documents, that uploaded files are readable and that your referees have enough time. Save a copy of your submission and its confirmation. If the provider changes its announcement, follow its current instructions rather than an older listing.
Frequently asked question
Can a master’s applicant use the Spring-2027 round?
The current timeline says Spring-2027 admission is only for PhD applicants. Use the appropriate Fall route.
