The Émile Boutmy scholarship offers tuition support to eligible new international Sciences Po students. Deadlines differ by admission route, so applicants should not rely on a single date for every programme.
Who can apply?
The main route targets first-time applicants from outside the European Union with family tax residence outside the EU. Several dual degrees, one-year master’s programmes, PhD programmes and other routes are excluded. Read the exact exceptions.
Funding and benefits
The current page lists undergraduate tuition exemptions of €9,500 or full tuition, and master’s tuition exemptions of €18,500 for each of two years. These are tuition awards, not a promise to pay living expenses.
How to apply and important dates
Indicate the scholarship request in the admission application’s Financial Information section. Foreign-secondary-school undergraduate applicants have a 13 January 2027 deadline; French-secondary-school applicants have 1 April 2027. The published master’s committee dates are 18 October and 29 November; the first has passed.
Documents and preparation
Prepare the relevant admission file and requested financial information. Confirm the exact master’s cycle and date on the live application before submitting.
Before you submit
Make a personal checklist from the official instructions. Check that your name matches your identity documents, that uploaded files are readable and that your referees have enough time. Save a copy of your submission and its confirmation. If the provider changes its announcement, follow its current instructions rather than an older listing.
Frequently asked question
Is it possible to apply only for the scholarship?
No. Applicants must apply to and be admitted to an eligible Sciences Po programme.
